Studies have shown speed of implementation to be the number one trait of all high income earners.
Bill Gates demonstrated this trait when IBM was looking for an operating system. Bill bought DOS from Tim Patterson and then licensed it to IBM. He later famously “cloned” Apple’s Macintosh look and feel, beating them to market with “Windows”. These two moves made him the richest man in the world.
Steve Jobs, of course, was famous for his speed as much as anything else – with incredible results!
Jeff Bezos of Amazon is more famous for being a visionary than a speed demon. But if he hadn’t built his much ridiculed online bookstore quickly, he wouldn’t be famous for anything today! And nobody is laughing at him now.
The best thing about this idea is that it is simply a decision to act now rather than later. If you make that one decision right now and never look back, how can that change the trajectory of your whole life?
